17) Switching it up a bit...

So today i decided to go out and shoot with fellow photographer Andrew Coutts (who is the subject of these photos) along with other photog Joe Barone. We knew the light was looking really nice outside and wanted to go do some experimenting a bit with some strobist stuff. So we grabbed a couple 285HV's and an umbrella and did some work. My goal for this trip was to jump out of the box im in and try some new techniques when it comes to my photography. I feel i accomplished it a little bit...

This is a headshot of Kati Mora, the blogger / nutrition expert of an amazing site called "Mora Nutrition" as well as terrific blog named "Around the Plate". Katie is mother to two wonderful children and has a great husband too! ( I know this because i had the pleasure of meeting all of them!) 14) Threads Fashion 2010

First, sorry this photo is late! Its been a really hectic week!

-Threads is a fashion show put on at Central Michigan University to showcase students work throughout the year. All clothing is student designed and most of the models are students at Central Michigan University. The show includes a wide varity of items from swimwear all the way to dresses.

13) Outdoors with Sam

So, i shot with Sam again (who you can find if you scroll down a few post) but this time decided to shoot outdoors with the great weather!  I used a Sunpak 333 fired off camera with 301P triggers for most shots (until the stand fell over and broke my flash head) then i used nothing but available light.
